Marc De Tollenaere, photographer proteste and testimonial Manfrotto introduces us to the life and works of a great contemporary photographer Arno Rafael Minkkinen. The Finnish artist has made the difficulties of life more weapon to discover its art and to become one of the most successful photographers of the moment. Arno Rafael Minkkinen proteste was born in Helsinki in 1945. In the early '50s he moved to New York with his family. The nature of the north, with its low light without shadows, the direct relationship with the landscape, remain fresh in his mind, to become the central theme of his inspiration. Since 1971, his photography is autobiographical and since then his body as part of the surrounding landscape becomes his most important means of expression. His profile is transformed, becomes the measure of the world, to zero in the form of lakes, trees, mountains.
