Event: 65th Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference - Post-2015 Policy & Practice
The 65th UN DPI/NGO Conference is titled '2015 and Beyond: canon 500d Our Action Agenda,' is being organized by the UN Department of Public Information and the NGO/DPI Executive Committee, and will focus on the theme of 'The role of civil society in the post 2015 development agenda'. The event seeks to provide an opportunity for civil society networks and activists to mobilize messaging, advocacy strategies, partnerships and accountability frameworks in the lead up to the start of the intergovernmental negotiations on the post-2015 development agenda. The outcome of the conference will be a declaration that will be shared with the UN system, the UN Member States, the global civil society and other stakeholders.

Upcoming canon 500d Events | iCal Upcoming Events Description This online discussion focuses on issues related to the localization of the post-2015 agenda, with the aim of identifying solutions at the local level and enhancing the importance of the local dimension in development. It further aims to bring together a broad range of stakeholders on a variety of topics related to the localization of the post-2015 agenda and to provide an online space for sharing practical experiences, lessons learned, ideas and solutions on the localization of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) agenda. The e-discussion will also consider current challenges to implementation and the need to identify mechanisms, tools, innovations, platforms, processes and other means of implementation (MOI) to translate the agenda into practice at the local level. The e-discussion will contribute to informing the final report of the consultation on localizing the Post-2015 agenda. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT), on behalf of the United Nations Development Group (UNDG), and the Global Task Force of Local and Regional Governments serve as the consultation co-leaders. The dates of a further set of formal OWG meetings were finalized at the conclusion of OWG 7. They will take place on: 3-5 March (OWG 9), 31 March - 4 April (OWG 10), 5-9 May (OWG 11), 16-20 June (OWG 12) and 14-18 July 2014 (OWG 13). It will also explore canon 500d how certification schemes, measurement practices and reporting standards can be used to help companies enhance legitimacy and build trust as they engage canon 500d in efforts to achieve sustainable development. This consultation is part of a series of consultations on Engaging with the Private Sector' that will be conducted globally, regionally, nationally and online. The consultations will address five themes: developing government policies that drive corporate sustainability; enhancing partnerships; mobilizing private sustainability finance; localizing the architecture of SME engagement; and building trust through enhanced transparency and accountability. The UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the UN Global Compact serve as the co-leaders of this consultation.
