I was able to finally finish the homemade fotojoker ringflash, fotojoker which lay more than a year in jail with all straws, sprays and cartons to play DIY :) Its construction has been halted because of poor light scattering with only one lamp. Originally supposed to be used only one SB-600 TTL cable, which would allow for fully automatic flash. However, the light flashing from one side only gave very uneven lighting inside the "bowl" ... Recently, in my arsenal was second with flash SB-600, enabling the use of two identical units with equal power flash. It inspired me a few days ago to complete the modifier :) Feel free to view pictures of construction and test shots :)
Accessories used to make Ringflash are: silver aluminum bowl, sewage pipe, aluminum slat conveyors inch, pin, two dice Inlet type of "cold fotojoker foot" aluminum silver fotojoker tape and silicone. Most of you probably interested in this sewage pipe: P but it ideal for interior Ringflash through which the lens.
Purchased by me was perfect bowl bottom which fits into the tube with a diameter of 10.5 cm. Only after the whole session I had the idea to earn wealth handle. Possessed the handle of the lamp Fomei Panther Mini 600 Ws, which I did not use due to poor attachment to the lamp (that's where all flew, so uncomfortably holding up the lamp by the handle) and was enough fotojoker to earn some extra hole on standard photographic pin to have a comfortable grip. UPDATE: Paper diffuser has been replaced with plexiglass light diffusing plate with a thickness of 3mm. It is attached to the rim of the bowl on a silver silicone, the same that was used to attach the tube to the bowl :) Here are the photos inside the ringflash without a diffuser and a few shots of Plexiglas, which was still in the phase of adhesion, so you can see the clips :) (PS All photos were taken Ringflash przecudownym Fuji X100: D)
Feel free to test Picture of Paulina, who has done quite sharp makeup needed for this kind of light because fotojoker the flash from the lens axis really brightens up your face and too subtle makeup would die a natural death :)
The first image was taken at 50mm, and the other 80m, which ringflash was further from the background and Paulina and had to flash with more power, causing the background is much brighter with the correct exposure of the skin.
